Raise A Paw To Better Behavior

I am here to support as you build a better relationship with you pets by teaching them new skills and addressing their antics that drive you crazy. I offer one on one attention to address your personal concerns and meet you where you are. In person consults are still being offered as well as virtual zoom meetings.

In Person

In person consults offer one on one attention either in the comfort of your home or in your yard or park depending on the behavior you want addressed. This is a great option for social pets who need some manners or for families who want to get everyone on the same page with hands on practice. This can also be a good follow up after a virtual visit if you learn best from watching Initial sessions last between 1 hour to 90 minutes. Anything not covered in that time would need to be addressed at a subsequent session. Cost is $75 for the main service area and $85 for the secondary service area. All sessions include two months of email support for concerns addressed at the visit. If you are outside of the service area, contact for a quote.

Virtual

I will meet with you in the comfort of your own home without the distraction of a visitor in person. This is a great option for very nervous pets who don’t take treats or who act very differently when visitors arrive. This is also the recommended option for a first meeting if there is a bite history. It can also be a great option for those outside of my service area. Virtual session training comes in packages of two meetings. Each meeting is conducted via zoom and will last 40 minutes. Two months of email support for the issues addressed is included. Anything not covered in the meeting package would need another appointment.

Pet Professional Support

If you are a veterinarian, groomer or other pet care professional and would like help addressing stressed pets at your location, this is the best option for you. I will come and teach you and your staff how to recognize stress and various options to minimize the fear pets experience while in your care. Please contact me for a quote based on your needs.

New Puppy/ Kitten Packages

A new puppy or kitten addition can often be as exhausting as it is exciting. Young pets have short attention spans and benefit from multiple sessions. If your new puppy or kitten is under seven months old this is a great option for you. The new pet package consists of 4 sessions that must be used within 4 months. Cost is $250 for the package and is due at first session. If you are outside of the service area call or email for a quote. This package is intended to help you get started with basic training and management of adolescent behavior before it becomes a problem.

Pet Selection Counseling

Do you want to add a furry companion to your home? Do the kids keep asking for a dog or cat? Not sure what would fit best with your lifestyle. Not sure where to start? Pet section counseling can help you decide what species and breed would fit best in your home. It can also help you determine when would be the ideal time to bring home the new addition. This can also be a great option if you already have pets and are considering adding another. These sessions can either be via zoom or in person. Cost is $40 and includes a written follow up report of topics discussed.
