Why It Matters

Grace and courtesy help children feel safe and valued. It lays the groundwork for strong social skills, empathy, and cooperation, skills that benefit children long after they leave the classroom. These lessons encourage children to think about how their actions affect others and how they can contribute to a peaceful community. They learn to listen attentively, speak kindly, and respect personal space. By practicing these skills daily, children develop habits that support a positive classroom environment and prepare them for healthy relationships in the wider world.
