What is the Three Period Lesson in the First Plane?

First Period: Naming

The guide introduces an object or concept using precise language. For example, they might say, “This is a circle,” while holding up a circle.

Second Period: Recognizing

The guide helps the student connect the name to the object by asking them to interact with it. They might say, “Can you put the circle on your head?” to engage the student playfully.

Third Period: Remembering

In this final stage, the student recalls the object's name independently. The guide asks, “What is this?” while holding up the circle, prompting the student to name it

What is the Three Period Lesson in the Second Plane?

During this stage, students transition from concrete thinking to abstract reasoning. The Three-Period Lesson is adapted to match their developing reasoning mind:

First Period: Naming

Instead of saying, “This is a circle,” as in the first plane, the guide provides a detailed explanation such as, “Today, we are going to explore different types of angles. Here is a right angle.”

Second Period: Recognizing

Instead of presenting objects directly, the guide encourages exploration, asking, “I wonder if we can find any right angles around the room?”

Third Period: Remembering

Instead of presenting objects directly, the guide encourages exploration, asking, “I wonder if we can find any right angles around the room?”
